For two decades, the .eu Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) system has provided a fast and reliable way to resolve domain name disputes. Since its launch in 2006, the system has handled nearly 2,000 cases, offering a fair alternative to lengthy court proceedings with most decisions reached within two months.

As one of the two authorized providers, we are proud to have been actively involved in resolving these disputes since 2006. Contributing to the security and trustworthiness of the .eu domain ecosystem has been a core part of our mission for the past 20 years.

To mark this anniversary, a new Guide to .eu ADR has been released to help rights holders navigate the process and protect their digital identity even more effectively.

As of 01/01/2026, there will be a temporary discount on ADR fees of EUR 600 per filing an ADR complaint. The Complainant in ADR will pay 700 EUR for the initiation of ADR proceedings. The discount will be granted for each filed complaint irrespective of the number of domain names in dispute and the type of panel requested (for example, the fee for disputing one domain name before the single-member panel will be EUR 700 instead of EUR 1 300, etc.). The discount is applicable to complaints submitted until 31/12/2025. However, the Czech Arbitration Court, at its sole discretion, may decide at any time to stop this special promotion. The discount of 1200 EUR in 2026 is also still valid for cases filed before 31/12/2025.

In filings from July 29, 2024 it is possible to pay the fees for domain name disputes via card! 

Our platform cooperates with Global Payments secure payment gateway, enabling quick and easy card payment. There are no special fees for payment by card (the fee is the same as bank transfer).

We hope this new method will be more comfortable and quicker than a bank transfer.

As of 01/01/2023, there will be a temporary discount on ADR fees of EUR 1200 per filing an ADR complaint. The Complainant in ADR will pay only 100 EUR for the initiation of ADR proceedings. The discount will be granted per each filed complaint irrespective of the number of domain names in dispute and the type of panel requested (for example the fee for disputing one domain name before the single-member panel will be EUR 100 instead of EUR 1 300, the fee for disputing six domain names before the three-member panel will be EUR 2800 EUR instead of EUR 4 000 etc.). The discount is applicable to complaints submitted until 31/12/2023. However, Czech Arbitration Court at its sole discretion may decide at any time to stop this special promotion. The discount of 1200 EUR in 2022 is also still valid.

As of 1 May 2021 a new article 15 is available in ADR Rules for .eu domain name dispute resolution. This article brings the possibility to request redaction of a name of a private person published in a panel decision. The request shall contain prescribed information and reasons for a name redaction.

The request can be made regarding all published decisions in .eu ADR (even decisions published before 1st May 2021).

As of 1 January 2021, a .eu, .ею or .ευ domain name may not be transferred to the Complainant following a .eu ADR decision if the Complainant is a UK undertaking or organisation established in the UK but not in the EU, a UK citizen who is not resident of an EU Member State, and a UK resident who is not an EU citizen.
